40 Days for Life

Published: Tuesday, 29 September 2020 00:00

The 40 Days for Life campaign is underway and our parish is covering this Sunday, October 4th participating in a 12-hour prayer vigil in front of Planned Parenthood in Cincinnati. In preparation we will also have a parish day of fasting on Friday, October 2nd to help strengthen our witness and prayers for an end to abortion.

This Sunday there will be shift leaders present to lead you and oversee the vigil for the 12 hours. We encourage you to sign up for an one hour shift and you can do this by contacting Mark Linnemann at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 859-991-3860. Once you sign up, you will be contacted by your shift leader with more details for the day. We will abide by all Ohio and 40 Days for Life for masking and social distancing requirements. Also, the church will be open on Sunday after 11:30 Mass until 7 pm for those who wish to pray from our church.

Please prayerfully consider becoming a part of this peaceful, very powerful international campaign that is happening in 588 cities worldwide. The number of cities participating shattered the previous record despite all the turmoil and unrest in our world. It is truly the power of God and the power of prayer that has fueled this campaign for the past 14 years and led to the saving of over 17,000 lives, 206 abortion workers quitting, and the closing of 107 abortion centers.

You have the opportunity to join in and be a part of this life saving campaign - will you?
